Essempio di recammi, 1530. 'Examples of Needlework' by Giovanni Antonio Tagliente, first published in 1527, was one of the first textile pattern books to be issued in Italy. 'Opera nuova che insegna alle donne a cuscire, a raccammare, & a disegnare a ciascuno, Et la detta opera sara di grande utilita ad ogni Artista, per esser il disegno ad ogni-uno necessario, la qual e intitolata Esempio di raccammi'.
