Aaronsburg was laid out upon the AlexanderGrant warrantee by Aaron Levy in October, 1786,and therefore bears the earliest date of any town inthe county. In 1S04 he conveyed all his interests inhis large bodies of real estate, in Centre County toSimon and Hynian Gratz, and after that titles to lotswere derived from the Gratzes.
