Model of an Anchor, Wooden model of a peculiarly shaped anchor. The anchor pole and arms have changed places. The shaft is flat and broadens halfway to form the bent arms, to which a bent oval copper plate with pointed ends is attached. The straight anchor rod is very thick, about triangular in cross-section, the sharp part pointing backwards, and turns on the shaft. The weight of the anchor pole and the oval shape of the arms ensure that the anchor is positioned correctly.
