Thorax bhickisli, with tiery red-ferruginous hair; scutellum similar. ^I/k/ojh^u obconical, dis- tinctly longer than tliorax ; basal half black; apical half tawny- red with short golden-red hair. Venter bare, basal half black, apical half red. //ty* ferruginous-red, practically bare; coxae, a streak at base below middle femora, hind femora wholly except tip, and a spot at outer side of hind tibia^ at tip, black. Wiufjs tawny-yellow. Halteres tawny. Le)t(/th, l-t mm. Described from the one $ fak(Mi by me in Calcutta, 20. ix. 19')-^. Ti/pe in my collection.
