Bristol, UK. 2nd February, 2015. Campaigners have occupied trees preventing construction workers starting a new metrobus construction project in Bristol. Trees were due to be felled today but protesters are occupying several trees and say they have no intention of leaving. The council-owned site is currently used by an environmental project and allotments. Metrobus is a controversial, £200M scheme aimed at improving transport links in Bristol.
