Icefield on top of Cho La pass

Top of Cho La pass having just climbed up from the Western side of the pass. The top of the pass is covered in a snowfield or glacier. Crossing Cho La allows people to pass from the Gokyo valley to the Khumbu valley without having to backtrack extensively.
