It is my intention to terminate, with this gift mvdonations to colleges. I have chosen Berea College as therecipient of tins final gift because of the faithfulness whichIts officers have shown in the care of endowment fundsand because m my judgment Berea College faces the lar<.-est amount of raw material for the making of <.oodAmerican manhood of any college in this country. It hasbeen my privilege to assist more than forty colleges, and togive to them several millions of dollars. I rejoice in themall, and wish them all well.
