Monument to fallen German soldiers at Neuville-Saint-Vaast, France.


The remains of 44,830 German soldiers who died during World War One are laid to rest in the Neuville-Saint-Vaast Cemetery. It is the biggest German World War One cemetery in France. The inscription translates as "I had a comrade; a better one you'll never find".
