Wayne Bondy, deputy director, Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services, watches as a forklift flips a vehicle turned in to the 1st Cavalry Division Resolute Support Sustainment Brigade Materiel Readiness Branch, as part of the Afghan National Defense Security Forces 1050 DEMIL Program. The 1050 DEMIL Program allows the ANDSF to turn in vehicles that are beyond repair, and part of the inspection process is flipping the vehicle with a forklift to dislodge any loose items that may be a hazard during the DEMIL process.
