Purser Ships in Freaserbough Harbour, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. UK.


These Ship`s are called Purser ship because of the net they use which called Purse nets. The nets are open one end narrow a the other end. These nets caught a lot of fish in one go. When the Nets are Hauled in the open end is closed. the ships mainly caught Herring and Mackerel and of course other fish in they to. Because they caught a lot of fish. these Ships go out once every 4 weeks.
