TINIAN, Northern Mariana Islands (Sept. 14, 2022) – The 30th Naval Construction Regiment’s (30 NCR) Command Master Chief, CMDCM Allen Johnson passes the command colors from Capt. Lance Flood, left, 30 NCR outgoing commander, to Capt. Dean Allen, right, 30 NCR incoming commander, during a change of command ceremony held at the 107th Seabee Memorial in Tinian, Northern Mariana Islands, Sept. 9. The passing of organizational colors symbolizes the passing of a Command to the new Commander. 30 NCR conducts tactical and operational level planning, maintains major contingency response capability, and executes general engineering across the full range of military operations within the USINDOPACOM area of responsibility, fulfilling CTF 75 requirements in order to support the combatant command and other service component efforts to protect and defend the United States, its territories, allies, and interests; promote regional security and deter aggression. 30 NCR oversees all naval construction force units deployed throughout the USINDOPACOM area of responsibility.
