Over 100,000 people are thought to have died. Artwork from 'L'Idea di un Principe ed Eroe Cristiano in Francesco I d'Este, di Modena e Reggio Duca VIII', a series of prints that illustrated Francesco I d'Este's life as a ruler and in daily life.
