Japan (Sept. 11, 2018) Commander, Naval Forces Japan Regional Fire Department (CNFJRFD), Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi, Japan, Fire Chief Brett Johnson rings the ceremonial bell during a moment of silence before the 9/11 memorial stair climb at NAF Atsugi. CNFJRFD held the stair climb with community partners from Ayase City Fire Department, Yamato City Fire Department, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, and The American Red Cross to honor all first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on Sept. 11, 2001.
