He owns nearly four hundredacres of good farming and grazing land, a partof which is well adapted to grapes and smallfruits. On September 3, 1855, he united in marriagewith Mary A. La Due, daugliter of Josluia LaDue, a native of Auburn, New York, who heldseveral important offices in the town ni Sher-man, Westfield and Portland, and died in 1865,aged seventy-one years.
