Training in emergency work is furnished by an automobile ambulanceservice in charge of members of the resident house staff, who are appointed by theCollege. The staff of this hospital, with a few exceptions, is appointed from theFaculty of the Medical College of Virginia. This further emphasizes the closerelation of the College to the community from which it has already received suchloyal support. Co-operation between College and city is now practically 27 X
