There is scarcely a variety of domestic animal creation - cows, oxen, sheep, horses, & which he has not produced with a life-like reality quite astonishing; and his landscapes, introducing grass-lands, water, trees, fruits, with various accessories, all speak eminently of the modesty of nature'.
