Gleaming copper and shiny brass fittings of a restored Aveling & Porter vintage steam tractor, No. 9179, Class KND, 7 imperial ton, 4 nhp (nominal horsepower), registered as CJ 4158. It was built in 1920 at the Aveling & Porter Invicta Works at Strood, Kent, England, and was owned and used by Hereford Borough Council before being purchased for preservation. This photograph was taken at the 50th Anniversary Woodcote Steam & Vintage Transport Rally in July 2013.

Whippet, registered as CJ 4158, was built in 1920 at the Aveling & Porter Invicta Works at Strood, Kent. It was owned and used by Hereford Borough Council before being purchased for preservation and starting a new life touring rallies, shows and other events showcasing veteran and vintage vehicles from the age of steam transport.
