Ministry of Information First World War Official Collection Private J Rawson, 4th Battalion East Yorkshire Regiment, prisoner of war returned from Germany in an emaciated condition, taken prisoners on 27th May 1918 and then sent out to work on railway buildings behind the German lines until rendered too sick for privations to continue work, when he was sent to Langensabra, until returned to England.
