A detail from the Masjid Jamek, the oldest mosque in Kuala Lumpur. The mosque dates from 1907. It was designed by Arthur Benison Hubbock of the Public Works and Survey Department and opened in 1909 by the Sultan of Selangor. The nearby local rail station is named after the mosque.
