Montoire sur le Loir, Chapel of St Gilles, interior with figurine. This Chapel also has interesting medieval wall frescoes. It is located near the River Loir on the Western side of the river bridge. To visit, you need to collect the key from the tourist office, but it is worth the effort. The quality of the light on the inside on a sunny day is remarkable. The poet Pierre de Ronsard was Prior here from 1566.
