Ducks. Eurasian widgeon
The Eurasian widgeon is commonly found in eastern Europe and Asia. These birds rarely migrate to southern California where this photograph was made. The Eurasian widgeon is center frame with the bronze head and is contrasted with the American widgeon (commonly found here) with white feathers on top of the head flanked with green which may not be seen in all light. American coot is the black bird.
