Beautifully painted blue-ground ewer or a cream jug with nice relief moulded handle. Depicting two geese perched on a pierced scholars rock and a third one descending towards them. They are surrounded by oversized chrysanthemums and bamboo. Inscribed in underglaze blue 9-character mark of Tashiro Monzaemon (1816-1900) - Dai Nippon Hichōzan Shinpo zō 大日本 肥碟山信甫造
