Retinal vasculitis, fundoscopy

Red-free fundoscopy of the retina of the right eye of a patient with retinal vasculitis, the inflammation of the blood vessels of the retina. The retina is the light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye. This is a sight-threatening condition that is most often caused by an underlying ocular or systemic inflammatory condition, such as Eales disease, lupus, or tuberculosis. Treatment is of the underlying cause.
