The astronauts in the image are from earlier space-themed illuminations at Gynn Square, including the illuminated and static 'Rocket Tram', which travelled the promenade tramway before modern safety regulations brought it to a halt. The Dr Who illuminations seen in the image have been at various other locations on the promenade in recent years. They include a revolving Tardis and illuminated images of Dr Who Monsters, such as Sontaran, Davros and Vashta Nerada.
