Sailors assigned to the air department of the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) participate in a firefighting drill with a UH-1Y Huey assigned to the "Vipers" of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 169 on the flight deck Nov. 20, 2018, while underway in the Pacific Ocean. USS Somerset is part of Littoral Combat Group One, which is deployed in support of the Enduring Promise Initiative to reaffirm Southern Command’s longstanding commitment to the nations of the Western Hemisphere.
