Plants should be set about a foot apart, so that when the size of the bed is ascertained it is easy to figure how many plants are needed of each kind in a row. We do not advise the or- fierin~ of Coleus until after the 15th of March, as they are easily chilled. We have a splendid collection of about seventy-five varieties. Many of of them are seedlings, having originated with usf and are simply grand. All are good bedders and will stand the hot sun without losing their brilliant coloring.
