Shibata (柴田町) is a town located in Shibata District, Miyagi, Japan. During spring, the local park will come alive with locals visiting the area for its Cherry Blossom Viewing Festival. The park stands atop a hill, giving visitors a vantage view of the surrounding area. Night hanami is also available.
