Size of the painting 17 x 21 cm, framed x cm. In terms of content, this watercolour belongs to Hitler's works from the front. It was painted during the First World War and was published by Heinrich Hoffmann in a special volume in April 1936. The file included a similar pencil drawing bearing the date 27th June 1917 and depicting the church of Ardoye about 30 km south of Bruges,
