All varieties offered on the following pages of colored paper, are worthy of a trial by our customers. The prices at which they are offered are very reasonable. Every person interested in gardening likes to experiment with something that is entirely new, and the Novelty List are the pages first glanced over on receipt of a new Catalogue. The introducer says "this is THE LONG LOOKED FOR BEAN, combin- ing hardiness and productiveness with fine quality. "A strong-growing bush variety of re- markable vigor and freedom from rust. It sends out short tendrils on which pods are formed in addition to those near the central stock of the plant, which ac- counts for Its wonderful productiveness, amounting, under favorable conditions, to 100 to 150 fold. "The pods are meaty and well filled, thick-flat when young, and semi-round later; of rich yellow color and fine qual- ity, and entirely stringless, even when large enough to shell.
