When he began hovering above theplace he saw seven machines in the air-drome with engines running. Two machines then left the groundtogether, so the Britisher thought it bestto get a little more hight before attackingthe pair. He climbed to 1000 feet and then,after a brief three-cornered fight, saw bothhis adversaries go down within 300 feet ofeach other.
