He made a heroiceffort to lalvc up his work in September, but hesteadily declined, and finally relinquished all workand went to Atlanta, Georgia, for a change of cli-mate. He experienced no relief, and died at Atlanta,November 29 of that year. His body rests in ForestHill Cemetery, Ann Arbor. HENRY FRANCIS LEHUNTE LYS- TER was born at Sanderscourt, County Wexford,Ireland, November 8, 1S37, son of the ReverendWilliam N. and Ellen Emily (Cooper) L)ster. He. HENRY FRANCIS LEHUNTE LVSTER was descended from the ancient family of Lister (orLyster), which was settled in Yorkshire, England, asearly as 1312. The eldest branch of the family isstill located in that countv, having occupied thepresent estates for more than five hundred 1560 Walter Lister, one of the younger sons ofthis branch, went to Ireland as secretary to Osbald-iston, Judge of Coimaught, whose daughter he mar-ried ; and from this union are descended the Lystersof Ireland. The father of Dr. Lyster was graduatedBachelor of Arts from Trinity College, Dublin, in1826. After studying at the University of Ivlin-burgh he took orders in the Protestant EpiscopalChurch in i8,,o, and came to America in 1S32. It was while the family were on a visit to Ireland someyears later that Dr. Lyster was born. The familywere settled in Detroit, Michigan, in 1846, wherethe elder Lyster became the first rector of Christchurch. The son, after receiving
