A stained glass window by Powell & Sons depicting St Egwin, All Saints Church, Evesham, Worcestershire

All the stained glass in the Lichfield Chapel in All Saints is by James Powell & Sons, installed in 1882-2. This window depicts St Egwin (or Ecgwine) who was the founding Abbot of Evesham Abbey. All Saints Church, Evesham, was established in the early 13th century, attached to the Abbey of Evesham and provided as a place of worship for the townspeople. It was situated within the abbey walls. As the population of the town grew, so did All Saints with aisles, transepts and chapels added between the 14th and 16th century. A major renovation by Frederick Preedy was carried out between 1872 and 1876. Preedy also added many new stained glass windows.
