Gladioli are in demand, and from now on will be the leaders in cut flowers. Outdoor stock of all kinds is suffering from the want of a good, soaking rain. Delphiniums were much in demand all last week. Easter lilies are plentiful and sell well. Valley, too, had a big call all last week. In the daily call for outdoor stock were coreopsis, phlox, cornflowers and daisies. Among the greens, flat ferns are be- coming scarce, but there is plenty of good asparagus and smilax to be had daily. Various Notes.
