Therock, especially the softer parts, is impregnated with cinnabar,and small aggregates of cinnabar crystals are found dissemi-nated through very hard rock. The fissures and cracks areoften found filled with cinnabar, accompanied with calcite andsome quartz. The ledge matter contains sensible amounts ofsulphur.
