Believers wait in a queue on a street next to the Jesús de Medinaceli church in of Catholics from various countries gathered close to the 'Jesús de Medinaceli' church in Madrid on the first Friday of March, Friday of Lent, to kiss the right foot of a 17th-century wooden image of Christ, known as Christ of Medinaceli. Pilgrims make three wishes to Jesus, of which he is said to grant one. However and because of the coronavirus, the church has forbidden believers to kiss him. Only one Mass will be celebrated.
