Aircrew members assigned to the 26th Expeditionary Rescue Squadron perform engine start procedures with an HC-130J Combat King II prior to a helicopter aerial refueling (HAAR) agile combat employment exercise with HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters assigned to the 46th Expeditionary Rescue Squadron, at an undisclosed location within the Central Command area of responsibility, Dec. 1, 2022. The ACE exercise enabled pilots, loadmasters, and special mission aviators to increase their combat search and rescue proficiency by extending the reach of HH-60G helicopters in an austere, contested areas.
