NORFOLK (April 13, 2017) An MH-53E Sea Dragon helicopter assigned to “Vanguard” of Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron (HM) 14 flies over the aircraft carriers USS George Washington (CVN 73), left, and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). HM-14 maintains a worldwide 72-hour airborne mine countermeasures rapid deployment posture, a two aircraft forward-deployed AMCM and vertical onboard delivery capability in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
