The flowers are mag- uificent, very full round and double, of immense size and splendid sub- stance; petals large and smooth. The nowers are borne, both earlj and late, on long stiff stems and are very fra- grant. The color is a deep crimson, rich and velvety; the foliage is the handsomest of any rose, and it is a strong groVrer, with healthy root action.
