Harefield, UK. 1st June, 2024. HS2 are continuing work on the High Speed Rail 2 Colne Valley Viaduct in Harefield, London Borough of Hillingdon. The huge orange bridge building machine, Dominique, called a launching girder has now crossed over the Grand Union Canal in Harefield and work on the viaduct is continuing above the lake (pictured) that used to house the Hillingdon Outdoor Activities Centre (HOAC).
