Throughout the exercise, which was held Feb. 5-11, AMC crews carried out 173 missions, transporting more than 3,000 paratroopers and million pounds of heavy vehicles, container delivery systems and other cargo. Airmen in the 43d AMOG here serve as the linchpin for America’s Global Response Force, connecting AMC airlift and Brigade Combat Teams of the 82nd ABN DIV, and providing operations, maintenance, Aerial Port, fuels, ground equipment and other support.
