Thelarge property on the west of Bond Street came into thepossession of the Grosvenor family through the marriage ofSir Thomas of that name, a Baronet of Cheshire, mth MissMary Davies, heiress of an estate which extended fromOxford Street to Belgravia, and included the street namedafter her, together with Farm Street, Hay Hill, and HayMews, and many others.
