PACIFIC OCEAN (June 1, 2017) Sailors assigned to the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22) refuel an UH-1Y Venom, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (reinforced) on the flight deck during Certification Exercise (CERTEX). San Diego is currently underway conducting CERTEX as part of the third and final phase of qualifications for their upcoming deployment.
