Fractures of the Costal Cartilages.—These fracturesoften take place at the junction of the cartilages with theribs or in the body of the cartilages, and the union of thefracture usually takes place by the production of a massof bone at the seat of fracture. Treatment.—It consists in the application of strips ofadhesive plaster applied in the same manner as for fract-ure of the ribs, and the dressings should be retained forabout the same time.
