It rivals any of the whites we have in productiveness and is of a luxur- iant medium height growth, throwing up flower stems with sur- prising quickness. Large, finely formed flowers, long, wiry stems and perfect calyx are characteristics of this variety. Pearl. White, very large, frequently from three to three and one-half inches across, full ana crisp, occasionally rosy-blush, a good bloomer with rarely any tendency to burst, stems" long and stiff; a very strong flower. Blanche. A white variety, growth strong and vigorous, foliage is of a lighter shade of green than that of any other varieties, stem heavy and very much branching, calyx strong, non-bursting, flowers me- dium to large, pure white, deeply fringed. Silver Spray. This is an excellent variety. Flowers are of the purest white, with petals of great substance, making it one of the best. Puritan. Finest white, extra large size, very fragrant, an early and continuous bloomer. 15c. Lizzie McGowan. Flowers large, purest white on long stems. Mrs. Fisher. A very robust grower, flowtrs full and the best summer bloomer we have; also splendid for winter. De Graw. A good summer bloomer here,«lso good for winter. Pink. Aurora. The most promising of the delicate pink type, most beautiful shade by sun or gas-light; the most attractive and strong clove-scented carnation we know. Cherry Lips. Hright pink, verv fine. Daybreak.
