M 'HU ^kdii^J, Here's your 1952 catalog, our 63d edition. We hope you will be pleased as you turn each page and see the additions we have made. You will find many such innovations as the conven- ient order blanks, a whole page of easy-to-read charts on how and when to plant seeds, as well as the introduction of many new varieties, along with your old favorite flower and vegetable seeds, ornamentals, insecticides, and garden supplies. Any questions you may have which are not answered in this catalog our staff will be glad to try to answer for you. We feel that our service must be of service to you and, therefore, invite you to discuss your own particular gardening problems with us. Over the years, we have received favorable comment from our many friends who have seen our Iris and Peony exhibits during the month of June and our Chrysanthemum exhibit in October. These exhibits are unique, inasmuch as you can see and select just what varieties you would like to have bloom in your garden. Watch your daily newspapers during those months for the announcements of the shows. Another service we offer the gardener is our weekly radio program, "Gardening with Beattie," heard every Sunday at 8:45 on Radio Station WRC. Mr. Beattie attempts to anticipate and answer your gardening problems on this program. We again invite your attention to our two convenient stores. When you are downtown, we suggest that you visit our modern store at 1220 H Street Northwest; h
