Jamaica Inn. Bodmin Moor. Cornwall. Photo of the young Daphne du Maurier at the Jamaica Inn. Made famous by the writer Daphne du Maurier's novel with the same title and made into films and television dramas. That was a story of widespread smuggling in the local area. The inn has a Daphne du Maurier museum attached with a collection of private letters and other artifacts associated with her life.
