INDIAN OCEAN (Sept. 22, 2015) Marine Lance Cpl. Nicholas Clancy fires at his target during a marksmanship qualification course aboard the dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47). Clancy is an automatic machine gunner with Kilo Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. The marksmanship course focused on retaining basic marksmanship skills which prepares them for potential operations while deployed with the 15th MEU.
