On the 26th Bliicher brilliantly defeated MarshalMacdonald on the Katzbach, in Silesia ; on the 30th General A Series 0fVandamme, with 10,000 French soldiers, was surrounded and Frenchcaptured at Culm, in Bohemia; and on the 27th Hirschfeld, at DisastersHagelsberg, with a corps of volunteers, defeated Girard.
