Plitvice, Croatia - 5 September 2017 A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of the oldest national parks in Southeast Europe and the largest in Croatia. It has become is world-famous for its beautiful and vivid lakes, linked by a series of cascades and waterfalls. This image started off as the sun reflecting off a tiny pool in the park. But then I got adventurous and turned it into something more colorful and abstract, using a combination of Photoshop techniques including multi-layer blending, transformations and gradient mapping. I hope you like it Despite the fact that it turned out looking like a vry scary monster-face!"
