A portrait of the constellation of Lyra the Harp from May 2023, with a 135mm telephoto lens to frame this small pattern. Vega is the bright star and the double star to the left of Vega is Epsilon Lyrae. The colourful small group below it is the sparse star cluster Stephenson 1 surrounding the stars Delta1 and Delta2 Lyrae. The globular cluster M56 is just in the lower left corner. This is a stack of 10 x 1-minute exposures taken from home May 13/14, 2023 with the Canon RF135mm lens at and on the Canon R5 at ISO 800. An additional 1-minute exposure through a Kase/Alyn Wallace Starglow filter was layered in to add the glowy stars, to accentutate the brightest stars and their colours. The camera was on the Star Adventurer 2i tracker. I autofocused the lens on Vega.
